Oh gosh I don’t have anything cool to show ya so uh here’s something that my younger sister and I have been collaborating on; a new design for an old meta 2D avatar OC of mine
she did the lines and I came up with the outfit + colors (though she helped with the boots and hair! however, the hair colors may be subject to change)

Of all of the “Equestria Girls” designs, Rainbow’s is probably my second or third least favorite…but mostly for the shoe-horned in skirt, and her odd mane :x (that and the wings are kinda wtf but if that’s what they’re going with then uh okay???)
ahhh I’m not even sure if I’ll go with this body type…? My headcanon is that she’s petite and tone, but I’m thinking of pulling a Hasbro and just giving them all one body-type. I want something that looks soft in the same way the ponies themselves kind of do, if that makes sense?
Also half her bangs are missing I’ll do that later
idk once I get the perspective right I’ll make her a little less curvy if need be

In my head she’d be the feline companion to Pinkie Pie in a humanized!Magical Girl AU. Together they would have to find the other Elements of Harmony before something really bad happens! Also they were pony bff’s in a past life so all the girls would have some kind of connection to ponies/horses :o (Pinkie Pie being a pony toy enthusiast, Rarity would draw them when she’s not working on fashion designs, Fluttershy likes taking care of them/appreciating them from afar, AJ has a farm, & RD likes racing/riding, etc idk)
…Okay its basically Sailor Moon but with ponies and less romance >_>
I didn’t wanna give her a Kitty Mane ‘cause it’d look too furry-ish for me, but a perfectly died tail is a bit much, so I figured back & tail stripes would be good. idk though??

Once I finished this, I stopped drawing for a while ‘cause I kept getting rejected from that PoniesPlus group. (I’m still kind of in a slump hahaha oops) I’ve been too afraid to ask why I’m always rejected orz

lol I honestly have no idea how to explain or justify this one. (Also not sure if adult proportions or if I just fail at anatomies)
so like, design-wise I was trying to cross-breed Magical Girl Madoka of the Magus with the crusades, plus a starfish motif. (Don’t ask. All three are relevant though!)
But uh I kind of got stuck and have been for a days now ‘cause the color scheme is bleh and I fail at designing cute outfits.
The character herself is nothing special though. In almost every rp I do, a majority of the characters I play are just anime expys. In addition to those, there’s one character in particular that’s essentially a flexible and derpy self-insert…and this is her. (or “one of many incarnations of her”, I should say)
My rp group of 9 years doesn’t seem to mind though, as they all pretty much do the same thing themselves XD (It’s all in good fun though; we’re not writers, and even if we were, our rp’s have so much plagiarism in them that we’d never write stories based off those! That’d just be silly)
